One Step Ahead or OSA, as the senior dancers like to call us, was established in 1989 by Melinda Morrall, the Owner and Director.   We are now in our 26th year of offering dance lessons in Calgary’s northwest.  OSA caters to recreational children; who like to dance once/week and also to the more dedicated dancer; who enjoys additional performance opportunities participating in local dance competitions.  With a dedicated and experienced staff of teachers who share their passion for the art, your child will have a positive dance experience!

Ms. Morrall trained at the Edmonton School of Ballet Professional Program, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Professional Program, Rambert School of Ballet, England and the Royal Ballet School, England.  She is a fully certified RAD teacher and received her teacher training at the Royal Academy of Dance in England and is also a certified Acrobatic Arts Level Two teacher.
